The design of the DNA CACHE

Our eminent requirement when producing the DNA cache was a safe storage with high protection against all external impacts such as mechanical damage, radiation influence, electromagnetic and electric fields etc. At the same time its design components do not influence the stored samples.  One of the essential requirements was an energy supplies independence (such as electricity, water…). An elegant and aesthetically pleasing design was also one of our main priorities. The DNA cache is not only functional but it can become a part of the interior as a decoration.

The system needs great resistance which is only possible by combining inert materials such as glass, stainless steel, air dural (aluminium alloys). All, including minor details, in the highest quality possible, satisfying all the above specified requirements, but at the same time meeting the highest ones. Perfect execution from design to technology. Even the washer for a screw has to be and is made of stainless steel as well as other components.

The operation of the system is intuitive and simple, without tools or with a bare minimum of them. If we exaggerate a little, we can say that the design has to be an equivalent of army designs – simple and effective.

The design itself consists of functional modules that fit together and provide a layered protection of the sample. Each layer protects the sample greatly.
